SmartSMS is easy to integrate into your desktop application with just a few lines of code. Here is an example of a custom CRM package that integrates SmartSMS.
The code for sending the SmartSMS from Visual Foxpro and receiving a response from the SmartSMS server is shown below

The template string at the top has some placeholders that are substituted when sending the SMS. (see code image below)
The desktop application sends the request for sending a SMS. Remember, a simple SMS is limited to 165 characters. The message ID is returned to the program on success of sending the SmartSMS. If an error occurs, the SmartSMS server will return an appropriate message.
After successfully sending the SmartSMS, the details are logged in a table in a database.
